SCST-III Methanol Cracking Machine

Basic Principle

The methanol from the raw material liquid storage tank is measured and pressurized with a feed pump and sent to a heat exchanger. The raw material liquid is heat exchanged with the decomposition gas in the heat exchanger and enters the carburetor after heating. The methanol is continuously vaporized in the carburetor Overheating, and then overheated the mixture into the reactor, the reaction temperature of 250 ℃ ~ 300 ℃, under the action of the catalyst at the same time the following decomposition and transformation reaction:

CH3OH→CO+2H2-Q1               (1)

The total reaction is endothermic, and the heat required by the reactor and the carburetor is provided by electrical heating. The decomposition gas (mainly hydrogen and carbon monoxide) coming out of the reactor is heat exchanged with the feed in the heat exchanger, cooled by heat exchange, cooled in the cooler by recalculating water, condensed, and the residual trace methanol is recovered The raw material tank is recycled again.
