The Cobalt-Molybdenum Hydrodesulfurizatioin Catalyst SCST-311 is a composite catalyst with the carrier of γ-Al2O3 modified carbonization method and the active components of Co-Mo. This composite catalyst is used as the technology of catalytic cracking gasoline selective hydrodesulfurization with the low loss of gasoline octane value.

The main reactions are as follows:

RSH + H→ RH + H2S

       R1SR+ 2H→ R1H-R2H + H2S

 C4H4S + 4H→ C4H10 + H2S

                                                                                          COS + H→ CO + H2S

                                                                                             CS+ 4H→ CH+ 2H2S

Industrial Applications

  • The catalyst is suitable for removing of organic sulfur in natural gas, light hydrocarbons, etc, at ammonia plant, methanol plant, refinery plant and ammonification plant;
  • The catalyst is suitable for hydrodesulfurization of light petroleum.
